The Story of

Have you ever noticed that after using an eyelash curler your lashes get weaker or break? Or accidentally ripped out multiple lashes at once or pinched your eyelid? I have.

After working in the beauty business for several years and using eyelash curlers personally almost daily, I wanted to find a curler without these well-known problems that most makeup users face in their everyday lives. An eyelash curler that suits your eye shape, doesn’t hurt you or break your lashes, but still works and gives you the illusion of those bigger and brighter eyes. After testing most of the curler types on the market, I realized that a new design was needed.

I had a strong vision of what the perfect curler should do. One day I shared this idea with my friend (and future co-founder), who instantly asked ”Why don’t you create one yourself?” The seeds for Ainua heated eyelash curler had been sown.

With an amazingly creative team, including an industrial designer and materials experts, the development of our curler began. Prototype by prototype, we were heading to the right direction.

And suddenly I held the perfect curler in my hand! With cutting-edge technology and a very innovative design, it gave me that beautiful long-lasting curl I was looking for, without breaking my lashes or hurting my eyelids.
